Hawke River House

Extensive additions and renovations to a large, quirk Halifax house. Between a new kitchen and a re-planned living area, the design adds a new glass and wood cantilevered stair and minimalist bridge. These lead to a fully re-designed primary bedroom suite which feels both connected to the living areas below and yet sufficiently removed for privacy. The project also includes a new sauna area, boathouse, garage structure, and guest house.
